Valleyfarmsupply.com's strong and reliable Tru-Test scales make weighing a breeze so you can make informed decisions, track calf growth rates, ensure accurate treatment dosages and more.
Tru-Test scales are:
*Designed specifically for animals that don't stand still when weighed. A box of rocks may not move, but a 2000-pound animal will.
*Waterproof and weatherproof, so you can weigh your cattle and other livestock in all types of crazy conditions.
*Fully functional without electricity - Trutest load bars connect to the indicator with a 16-foot cable, and the weigh indicator has a long-lasting, rechargeable, internal battery with 14 to 20 hours of operation (depending on model).

Need to buy a new Cattle Scale? Are you located in Tennessee? They have a grant program for getting a livestock scale on your farm or ranch.
The Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP) was established in 2005 to provide cost share dollars to agricultural producers for the purpose of making long-term investments in Tennessee farms and communities. Participation allows producers to maximize farm profits, adapt to changing market situations, improve operation safety, increase farm efficiency, and make a positive economic impact in their communities.
More than $246 million has been invested in 80,860 producer projects from 2005 through 2022. Each TAEP dollar generates $6.55 in local economies.

We have Speedrite / Stafix fence chargers. Very high performance charger. We have the one that comes with a remote control. You just place it on the wire and it tells you the voltage and the amps and what direction the juice is going. And the biggest benefit is you can turn the charger on and off remotely so you do not have to go all the way back to the charger to turn it on and off. We have saved countless hours fault-finding/repairing since we started using the Speedrite / Stafix chargers with the remote control/finder. Ours are X6is with 6 joules output and 8 joules stored. We usually have anywhere between 7000 and 8000 volts. Runs either on 120V or 12V. We rarely have a cow get out. Only time we have a problem is if antelope or deer run into it and knock it down. Even they learn pretty quickly.
The chargers are great but the remote control/finder is what really makes it.
